Boyd Kent, a resident of China Spring since 1997 was elected to the CSISD Board of Trustees in May of 2007. He graduated from Waco High School in 1982 and from Baylor University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

He is owner of Boyd Kent Insurance and has been in the insurance business since 1987. Boyd is a very active member of our community. He manages the Central Texas Fire & Ice ASA Select Softball Program which benefits many kids not only in our community but also in surrounding communities.
Boyd has two children who have graduated from China Spring ISD, Chelsea and Taylor. They are members of The First United Methodist Church of China Spring.
