Brent Merritt has been in China Spring ISD since 2005, and has served as the assistant principal at China Spring High School, the principal at China Spring Intermediate School, and is currently the principal at China Spring High School. 

Dr. Merritt has lived in Central Texas for most of his life. He graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelors Degree’s in Business Administration.  Dr. Merritt has also received a Masters Degree from Tarleton State University in Educational Administration. This summer Dr. Merritt completed his Doctorate in Curriculum & Instruction from Baylor University. 

Brent has been married to Kelly since 2003, and has a set of twins that attend China Spring Elementary.
