May Faculty and Staff Members of the Month

I would like for you all to join me in congratulating the Faculty and Staff members of the Month for May. These outstanding team members have gone above and beyond the call of duty for the betterment of our district. If you see them in your hallways or on your campuses please congratulate them. If you have someone you would like to nominate please send those nominations to your principal or myself.

Staff Member of the Month – Congratulations to Ms. Tammy White, Cafeteria Manager at the Elementary, for being nominated and selected as the Staff Member of the Month.  Tammy is fantastic with both her staff and the students at the elementary.  She always goes above and beyond the call of duty and inspires her staff to follow her example.   Tammy has wonderful communication skills and her customer service is outstanding.  The elementary students love her and are always greeted with a smile.  She is truly an asset and a pleasure to work with at China Spring ISD. So congratulations to Ms. Tammy White on her outstanding work at the Elementary School.

Elementary Faculty Member of the Month – Congratulations to Mrs. Tiffany Brummett, Elementary/Intermediate GT Teacher, on being nominated and selected as the Elementary Faculty member of the Month. Tiffany is a tremendous asset to our school.  Not only is Mrs. Brummett an exceptional GT teacher, she is an advocate for all students.  She often mentors our struggling learners who need a little extra care and attention.  She offers her time to build lasting and trusting relationships with students and is able to build their self-esteem and let them know that they matter.  Her love of children and her dedication to China Spring ISD shows in all she does each day. One of her colleagues said “I just wanted to say how much I have appreciated Tiffany Brummett this year.  Each year she takes on students that are not assigned to her and acts as a mentor to them.  She has truly made a difference in one of my student's lives this year.  She has taken on a student who has always struggled in school, has been retained, and has had excessive absences every year.  Tiffany spends one on one time with this student every Friday afternoon. This child tells me each week that he can't wait until Friday because Mrs. Brummett spends time with him. They have built a volcano, played board games, etc. each week. She has taken the time to build a relationship with him and show him that he is special to her.  His study habits have improved so much over the past few months and I think a large part of this is due to her influence.  He had perfect attendance for the fifth six weeks, and he has always had many absences.  I know that the weekly motivation from Tiffany has impacted his attendance.  This student is not assigned to her as a GT student so this is something that she has done out of the kindness of her heart.”  So congratulations to Tiffany Brummett on outstanding work at the Elementary and Intermediate campuses.

Secondary Faculty Member of the Month - Congratulations to Ms. Danielle Boucher, Math Teacher at the High School, for being nominated and selected as the Secondary Faculty Member of the Month. Danielle has been a valuable asset to our campus.  She has high expectations in everything she does, whether it is her classroom or something to do with after school activities.  She is dedicated to her classroom, her students, and volunteers many hours out of her work day to make sure her students’ needs are met.  One of her principals said “students excel in her classroom and love coming to her class. Whenever there is something that needs to be done you can count on Danielle to chip in.  She is not one to ever shirk a duty and will go above and beyond to make sure whatever she is asked to do is taken care of.  Never once has she ever told us no or complained when asked to help out.  She is a true asset to our campus and serves as a role model for her coworkers and students.”  Danielle is respected by her fellow teachers and administrators.   In fact, she recently volunteered to help re-mediate math students on Saturdays in an effort to help them be successful on their math STAAR test.  She is without a doubt one of a kind. So congratulations to Ms. Boucher on her outstanding work at the High School.
