Mrs. Reeser is always willing to help her fellow teachers out when they need it. She's fun and fun-loving and such an asset to our district! Mrs. Jenkins states: She has taken on several challenges this year and accepted them with grace. She makes a difference! She is a problem solver and a spot of joy during the day. She is quick witted and always has a story to share. Her interests become her hook for students; they love things because she loves them. She truly shares her love of life with her students. The impact she makes is immeasurable! Congratulations to Mrs. Reeser. We are so grateful that she is a part of our Intermediate!
Secondary Faculty Member of the Month - Congratulations to Mrs. LeeAnn Finley, Science Teacher at the Middle School, for being nominated and selected as the Secondary Faculty Member of the Month. A close teaching partner wrote, Lee Ann worked so hard on making TSTC (NASA) field trip possible for all the 8th graders. She coordinated with the Challenger Center all the details, put a ton of thought into which students should be grouped together and which students should take on roles at the Challenger Center. It was an incredible field trip. I think all would agree that ALL of the students loved it! They weren't expecting to like it because it was "educational" but in the end they loved the challenge. The field trip wouldn't have been possible without Lee Ann... She made it all happen. Her principal states, it is my honor and pleasure to nominate Lee Ann Finley as the Secondary Faculty Member of the Month. Mrs. Finley goes above and beyond to help her students be successful. She has incredible rapport with her students and her door is always open to provide additional assistance. I thoroughly enjoy observing Mrs. Finley's classroom because she has such creative and engaging lessons and she is constantly searching for ways to utilize the newest technology. She works extremely hard to come up with fun and different ways to teach and reteach concepts so that all her students have an opportunity to be successful. She uses every resource available to ensure that students are engaged while having a great time learning science. She makes learning fun for her students while challenging them to think at high levels. She is a wonderful teammate and incredible colleague to all. She meets regularly to strategize and brainstorm with her fellow science teachers and has brought the element of technology to our Professional Learning Communities. Her passion for teaching is evident in all that she does and the impact she has on the lives of her students is immeasurable. Lee Ann is punctual, prepared, and comes to work with a positive attitude every day. Mrs. Finley is an incredible and innovative educator, an asset to our team, and a joy to have on campus. Congratulations to Mrs. Finley!Staff Member of the Month – Congratulations to Lindsey Lyons, para-professional in Life Skills at the Middle School campus, for being nominated and selected as the Staff Member of the Month. She also drives a before and after school bus route. Her assistant principal states, each day without fail, Mrs. Lyon reports to school with a smile on her face and a positive attitude for the day. She serves her position with grace and kindness. She exhibits endless amounts of patience with her students even while doing tasks that others might deem as unpleasant. Her love for her students is evident and in turn, her students absolutely adore her. She also is a wonderful team player. Anytime someone needs assistance, whether it is another faculty member in their classroom or on campus, she is quick to volunteer to help out without being asked. She is a true asset to our campus and we are very grateful to have her as part of our team! Lindsey Lyons makes China Spring Middle School a better place! Congratulations Mrs. Lyons!
