Homecoming is a time where we come together as a community to show our school spirit, reconnect with friends, and celebrate our students and athletes. Join China Spring ISD on Wednesday, September 17, for an evening filled with festivities, spirit, and fun. Whether you are a student, parent, alumni, or community member, this is your chance to support our Cougars!
Event Details:
Reverse Parade: 6:00-7:30 pm
Get ready for a unique twist on the traditional parade with our reverse parade! During this event, student groups, athletic teams, and organizations will set up interactive stations to welcome attendees as they walk through the event area. Each group will showcase their Homecoming spirit with activities like games, photo opportunities, and more. Attendees will receive a bag to collect fun items from the different stations. It’s a great way to engage with students and see their creativity on full display!
Stations will be positioned between China Spring Middle School and China Spring High School, and in front of the entrance to the China Spring Competition Gymnasium.
Grab a bite while you enjoy the festivities! Food trucks, including Dave's Burger Barn and Le's kitchen, will be available during the reverse parade.
Spirit Parade: 7:30-7:45 pm
The fire truck sirens will signal the start of the spirit parade, leading student organizations, athletic teams, and community members into Cougar Stadium for a community pep rally. A fire truck, carrying cheerleaders, will lead the Homecoming court, followed by the band and dance team. The football team will join in, and as the parade moves through the student group area, we ask everyone to join and walk to the stadium together!
The fire truck and cars carrying members of the Homecoming court will start the spirit parade behind China Spring Middle School and drive in front of the China Spring Competition Gymnasium, towards Cougar Stadium.
Community Pep Rally: 8:00-8:30 pm
Once everyone enters Cougar Stadium, the community pep rally will start with performances by the cheerleaders, Electric Blues, and the band. It’s a great opportunity to come together, show your spirit, and support our students as we celebrate Homecoming!
