Dear China Spring ISD Families, Staff, and Community,
I am thrilled to share that according to the McLennan and Bosque County Elections websites, the VATRE measure passed. Voter turnout totaled 2,709, with 52.45% (1,421) voting for and 47.55% (1,288) voting against the measure. Because of your engagement, your questions, your feedback, and most importantly, your votes, our district will receive additional sustainable funding to continue providing the high-quality education our students deserve.
I want to personally thank each of you for attending information meetings, welcoming me into your community groups to discuss the measure, and taking the time to make your voice heard through voting. Your participation represents a community coming together to support the people and programs that make China Spring ISD exceptional.
With the additional funding, we will be able to address the budget deficit, establish competitive staff compensation, maintain manageable class sizes and student opportunities, and support daily district operations.
Thank you for your trust, your engagement, and your commitment to our schools.
Marc Faulkner, Ed.D.
Superintendent of Schools
China Spring ISD
