China Spring ISD is proud to announce that two of its teachers have earned National Board Certification, one of the highest honors in teaching.
Lauren Clinger, sixth-grade teacher at China Spring Intermediate School, and Rebekah Kahle, second-grade teacher at China Spring Elementary School, completed a rigorous process that included classroom assessments, portfolio submissions, and peer review. This certification shows their strong impact on student learning and their commitment to excellence in teaching.
As of the 2024-25 school year, more than 141,000 educators nationwide have earned National Board Certification, according to NBPTS. Since 2017, 71% of candidates who completed all required assessments earned certification, reflecting the high standards of the program. At China Spring ISD, the district now has four National Board Certified teachers. Clinger and Kahle join fellow National Board Certified teachers Amy Gregory, fifth-grade teacher at China Spring Intermediate School, and Sarah Stubbs, second-grade teacher at China Spring Elementary School.
"This certification reflects the dedication and skills of our teachers," said Assistant Superintendent Dr. Leslie Smith. "We are proud of the work they do each day and the care they show for our students."
Please join us in celebrating Lauren Clinger and Rebekah Kahle for this outstanding accomplishment.
