All China Spring ISD Families,
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has released the 2026 accountability ratings for public school districts across the state. China Spring ISD earned an overall B (88%) for the 2025-26 academic year. Since the state implemented its current accountability system in 2022-23, China Spring ISD has continued to improve its overall accountability rating each year. We are proud to highlight a few key achievements from this year's accountability rating:
China Spring Middle School earned one distinction for academic achievement in Reading Language Arts. Distinctions are awarded to schools performing in the top 25% of comparable schools statewide in specific academic categories.
China Spring ISD's student achievement score increased by 3%. This measure reflects STAAR performance for all tested subjects across the district.
China Spring ISD's school progress scores increased by 1%. This measure looks at student growth on STAAR Reading and Math assessments, including annual growth and the performance of students who did not meet grade-level standards the previous year.
These results show the hard work of our students, teachers and staff, as well as our district's ongoing commitment to continuous improvement. We are proud of our continued progress, and we know there is always room to grow. We will continue working closely with our campuses to strengthen instruction, address areas of need and provide support that helps all students succeed.

While accountability ratings are one way to measure academic success, they represent only part of the educational experience. Our commitment remains the same: to help every student learn, grow and achieve their full potential. We look forward to building on this year's progress in the year ahead.
